Photographer Ruggiero Cafagna has released a new photobook called Rising Giants ‘The Heya’.

The Heya is a captivating and heartfelt photo documentary that delves into the lives of young sumo wrestlers as they navigate the unique world of traditional Japanese sumo while attending school.

The series documents a group of promising young sumo wrestlers, all between the ages of 14 and 19, as they undergo rigorous training at a renowned sumo school located in a little town in Yamanashi prefecture Japan.
