Jesse Navarre Vos Make the Shortlist for Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize 2024

Filmmaker and photographer has been announced as one of the four shortlisted artists for this year’s Taylor Wessing Photo Portrait Prize.

Jesse’s work was selected from 4,847 submissions entered by 1713 photographers across 50 countries, and it was carefully chosen by a panel of judges. Vos’ shortlisted photograph depicts Edith (his grandmother and legal guardian, so mother by adoption) pausing in a lift in the care facility. The project entitled I’ll Come Following You (2023) is a collaboration, with the photographer’s mother as an equal contributor.

The exhibition will display his work, amongst work from 51 other artists, from 14 November 2024 until 16 February 2025.
