Frankie Perez publishes new book ‘Tokyo & Seoul & Me”

Photographer and filmmaker Frankie Perez has published his new book titled ‘Tokyo & Seoul & Me’.

The book depicts Frankie’s dreams had whilst he was travelling to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics as a breakdancer. Breakdancing is confirmed as a new sport for the Olympics, allowing a new era of athletes such as Frankie to take to the international stage.

Frankie said of the book: “‘Tokyo & Seoul & Me’ is a processing of the unusually vivid imagery and messages Frankie was receiving in sleep while traveling to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics as a breakdancer. The making of images through out this journey becomes a space to meditate on the meaning of these impressions as he was receiving them, messages that seem to revolve around one thing. They struggle to answer the same question. What does it mean to be more free?”

All sales revenue will go towards funding his continued travel during the Olympic qualification process.
