Tair Adato

Born in 1995 in Israel, Tair Adato is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program, where he was honored with the prestigious Director’s Fellowship. In 2021, Vogue Italia recognized him as one of twenty photographers globally highlighting the visibility of queerness.

Adato’s photographic approach is deeply rooted in the exploration of identity, culture, and the human experience. His work challenges societal norms and boundaries, often focusing on themes of queerness, belonging, and self-expression. Through his images, Adato invites viewers to confront complex emotions and examine the intersections of individual and collective identity.

His diverse body of work has been showcased in several group exhibitions, including the renowned Yves Saint Laurent Pride Show, and has been published in notable outlets such as Haaretz, The Face, The Advocate, Dazed, i-D, and The New York Times.
