Shingi Rice

Shingi Rice is a London-born, self-taught photographer of Spanish/Zimbabwean and British origin.
Her work is centred around the lack of real representation and cultural identification she has experienced in her surroundings growing up in southern Europe; she decided to focus on creating beautiful imagery, celebrating the underrepresented.
From late 2014, Rice dedicated her time to connecting with individuals, crediting social media with helping her to create relationships with other creatives, creative agencies and casting directors, enabling her to gradually build her reputation which lead to opportunities with companies such as Apple, Warby Parker, Adobe, Unsplash, Getty, The US Embassy in the UK, Puma, Dove, ASOS, inStyle, Facebook and more.
