Scott Semler

Scott Semler is a photographer from Atlanta, Georgia, living in Brooklyn, New York City He likes to play with food and make engaging pictures that are fun to look at.

Originally wanting to be a painter and illustrator, Scott works to create surreal and painterly images showcasing objects through uncanny compositions, fuelled by action and reaction. Treading the line of commercial and fine art, he constructs dioramas with unexpected comparisons between objects – emphasising luxury, and exploring ideas of materialism, and mortality.
