Sander Coers

Sander Coers is a photographer and artist based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He creates visual narratives by combining intimate portraits, saturated landscapes, and melancholic details into dreamy worlds. Working with analogue techniques allows him to capture these stories with a tender gaze that is distinctly evocative.

His work has been featured in publications such as Foam, Vogue, i-D, The Guardian, and Numéro. His clients include Woolrich, Essentiel Antwerp, DJ Mag, Sony, and Die Zeit. Sander has published several books and exhibited his work internationally. He was recognised as the Rising Star of 2022 by the Dutch newspaper NRC, nominated for the Nikon Emerging Talent Award at Photo London in 2024, and is currently in the Foam Talent programme for 2024-2025.
