Olga de la Iglesia

Olga de la Iglesia is a photographer who was born and is based in Barcelona, and has previously lived in the Dominican Republic and NY. Her work explores the boundaries between fashion and documentary photography and creates narratives that analyse and embrace the structures of diverse human societies.

Inspired by humans and the everyday spaces around them, Olga explores the narrative possibilities of visual analogies between colours and shapes in photography that follow the principles of painting where within the four lines of a frame she conveys the exact quantity of shapes, colours, and textures.
