Laura Gauch

Laura is a Swiss-Chilean visual artist specialising in photography and film. Her passion for capturing the world sprung during her teenage years and was carried to the present through the exploration of her Chilean heritage and familial background.

With her recent project “The Ocean is Closed on Mondays” Laura won the Prix Photoforum at Photoforum Pasquart, the Kiefer Hablitzel Ernst Göhner Prize at Swiss Art Awards 2024 and was selected for the Oscar-qualifying festival “ShortFest” in Palm Springs. Additionally, she was selected to exhibit at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan in 2025.
