Kirk Lisaj

Kirk Lisaj is a photographer and image-maker based between Montreal and Toronto, Canada. His photographs work to transcend moments into mystical visual gems; from transforming modern mundane objects into surreal still-lifes or capturing vibrant portraits of friends and strangers.

Inspired by the visual rhythms of nature, nightlife and queerness; His images highlight the absurdity and romanticism of the human experience while also capturing his subjects in a tender and considered manner. 

His work has been featured by the likes of Vogue, DAZED, and FACT, and he has worked on campaigns for brands including SSENSE and Vitaly, and is a recipient of CAFA’s 2022 NewGen Prize.
