Henriette Sabroe Ebbesen

Henriette Sabroe Ebbesen is a photographer and filmmaker from Copenhagen, Denmark. Having studied both Photography and Fine Art and Medicine, Henriette is interested in the intersection of science and art. Her artworks are small science experiments on how the human body, psyche, and world in general can be visualised and interpreted depending on the perspective of the beholder. Henriette works with reflections to create surreal effects in her work which play with our sense of reality by distorting objects and space within the picture frame. Conceptually her works often deal with identity and the subconscious self affected by and interrelated to the surrounding world.

Henriette’s work has been exhibited widely, both in the USA and Europe. She participated amongst other exhibitions in Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling 2016, Photo Vogue Festival 2017, and Portrait Now! 2019. In 2021, she held her first solo exhibition at Vasli Souza Gallery in Oslo. Ebbesen’s Clients include Vanity Fair Italia, Vogue Italia, Scandinavia, Greece, and Australia, Photo Vogue, and Dolce & Gabbana, and has been tipped by Photo Vogue as a photographer to watch.
