Aurelie Chantelly

Aurelie Chantelly is a photographer who was born and raised in Martinique and is now based in Paris. She specialises in fashion photography and mainly takes her inspirations in her Caribbean heritage and hip hop culture resulting from years of dance practice, specifically in hip hop and dancehall.

Aurélie uses video as an extension of her photography as a way to fully immerse into her universe. She sees art as a spectrum and her journey as experimental. She describes her practice as brave and full of audacity, seeking to transmute meaningful statements in her work.

Her clients include GQ France, Jordan, Glamour Mag, Fila, and Adobe.
