AnaHell
Valencia
AnaHell is an interdisciplinary artist and photographer from Spain. Her work focuses on the human body, altering its identity to look not entirely human. AnaHell defines her work as ‘a documentation of alternate realities’. She is also one-half of photography duo Red Rubber Road, an ongoing collaborative and performative body of work with Nathalie Dreier. These self-portraits portray both artists interacting and merging with one another and their surroundings in a powerful embrace of the unusual and the carnal.
AnaHell has participated in exhibitions worldwide, including PHotoEspaña 2018 (invited by Cristina De Middel to represent Europe in Players, Gran Final Mundial), Schwules Museum Berlin (2019), Paper Positions Art Fair Berlin (2020). Her work has also been included in international publications and books, including photo book New Queer Photography: Focus On The Margins (2020, edited by Benjamin Wolbergs, published by Verlag Kettler) and Le Petit Voyeur #6 (2018). AnaHell is currently based between Spain-Berlin.
