Alina Negoita

Alina Negoita is a London-based, Romanian-born interdisciplinary artist. She cross-pollinates between visual arts and creative direction, politics and poetry, the academic and the experiential, while through the intimacy of her stills, questions conventional attitudes towards the female gaze.

Her work addresses the politics of truth, human connection, identity and social atmospheres – from documenting the women’s liberation movement in Rojava by looking at freedom and identity in terms of gender-politics, geopolitics, and cybersecurity, to studies upon visual strategies used by women to depict socio-political issues in art and fashion imagery.
